So after a week riding the 7stanes i'm feeling a little weary in the leg department and have been harassed into doing a charity road ride tomorrow and have decided to put some slicks on my On-One parkwood to make the ride a bit easier/quicker .Question is do i have to wear lycra if riding on slicks and do i have to remove the peak from my "enduro" style helmet?? .And any other suggestions from the STW gang for a relative noobie.

@mtbfix. Funny you should say that took it out for a quick test ride and met some MAMILs who didn't so much as even grunt. Perhaps it was the peak .
