Shame, he had still been performing in recent years. I'm sure a good many folks will have counted his songs in their list of 'guilty pleasures'. Red Dress was my favourite.

Tagged along on a friends weekend works jolly to butlins minehead about 15 years ago.
Where Mr stardust was appearing in one of the camp nightclubs.
We had a bloody good weekend much thanks to alvin.

No guilty pleasure here. He was my fave pop star when I was a kid. I even did an impersonation onstage for a school show. (And still got the tribute sidies!)
