[Closed] Alternative/Any Place to Stay in Edinburgh

I'm running the Edinburgh Marathon on May 26th and have been left high and dry by my mate regarding accomodation after his wife intervened 🙄

Anyway to cut a long story short I need a hotel/hostel/B&B or something over the Marathon weekend at relatively last minute- obviously almost evereywhere is now booked up so wondering if anybody knows anywhere I could try my luck?

In an ideal world I would like to be in or at least as near as possible to city centre but the way things are going I just need to get something that is actually available. To complicate matters I will likely be arriving at 1am on the night before too which probably excludes some guest houses.

Any ideas anyone? 😕 🙁
