Like the light weight, size, and price - need something for upcoming biking with likely bivvy. Unfortunately Alpkit sold out of the Rig 3.5. Any other recommendations?

Thanks - any others out there tho? The lightest one on that page is still >400g, versus 270g for Alpkit, and about £20 more.

The sil tarp 1 is 218g,but not cheap.

Personally I use a cheap nylon poncho tarp. The slight weight penalty becomes acceptable as the tarp doubles as deluge protection

Ask Sean at Oookworks to make you something out of silnylon to whatever specification you like , he's just 5 miles up the road from me so i really will have to pop in and quiz him about a few ideas for lightweight stuff i'd like made

You can get a Dutch Army Surplus Poncho which doubles as a tarp for well under £20. Frankly they're a little bit plasticy but broadly good and I'd be suprised if it didn't work for you until the Rig 3.5 is back in stock.

Siltarp1 is lighter, but doesn't have as mid panel load lifter points like the alpkit 3.5

I have the former
