I have a fair bit of Alpkit stuff, but what are the Filo's like for fit etc?
On the large size, I had a Small and am 40" chest, which is normally medium.
ditto above, i had a large had to sell it as too big and i got cold with drafts. removable hood was good from memory
I'm normally a medium (or sometimes small) in most jackets. Tried a small because I wanted it snug - it was snug, but ever so slightly too snug. Swapped for a medium and it's spot on. Only thing that would improve the fit is tighter elasticated wrists (or adjustable ones - but they'd cost more). Reckon I can easily modify the wrists anyway.
Probably the best down jacket for the money. I was all set to buy one last winter when work offered to buy a near £300 RAB down jacket instead - oh go on then!
