Been a while since I was out up there last time it was the castle...

any good bunkhouses in the area? pref alnwick area to coast

Tomlinson's at Rothbury but that's west.

Think there's one outside Beadnel still but can't recall it's name at the moment.

Youth Hostel in Alnwick was tidied up to a good standard a year or 2 ago.

John Bull is real ale and whisky heaven
Don't even think about other pubs (unless you drink lager or campari)
