i assume they give you what you pay for.....

AliExpress is just a marketplace, there are thousands of people selling [s]fake stuff[/s] all manner of goods on there!
Some will be perfectly reasonable quality, just don't kid yourself that it's genuine and a bargain. To that end don't forget HMRC can confiscate anything they wish.
