Just heard Nutshell by AIC & wondered if anyone knows of similar stuff that they can point me in the right direction of?
Love that kind of haunting stuff with a few good power chords.

Try some of Live's music, its similar but not the same. Nutshell is an awesome track btw.
Pearl Jam is also wortha try if you havent listened to them yet.
If you want a bit darker then try The Mars Volta and another dark one is Tool

Soundgarden.
Pearl Jam.

And RIP Layne Staley. "Bones" by Alice in Chains takes me back.

AiC's orchestral vocals always did it for me, 'spesh through headphones. Said it before here somewhere, but 'Junkhead' is easily in my top 3, from nearly 20 years ago & still listen to it 2 or 3 times a week (couldn't be less interested in the subject matter either, but do wonder if Staleys problems affected his tone).
