I got my wife one for Christmas..lucky lady...
So far we've:
-linked it to spotify and use it for choonz
-linked it to Nest (via IFTTT) so when I tell her I'm chilly she turns the heat up
-listened to a few podcasts
-listened to teh radio
I'm actually really impressed - i want another for the bedroom as I like the ability to ask her to play radio stations, then spotify artists/playlists etc. I KNOW A radio could do this, but as an all in one solution/audio player, it's pretty good.
I'm kind of tempted by phillips hue lights, but most of our house lighting is LED down lighters, so would only really work on bedside lamps etc.
I'm in the process of writing an IFTTT "Alexa, IT'S BUSINESS TIME" trigger..happy to share if any interested parties???
So...anyone else impressed, non-plussed by theirs??

No! Novelty gadget slapper.
We were bought on too. So far it's a bit meh.
Sonically it's awful and it doesn't work with Airplay or Apple Music so any music use is out, and Alexa sounds posh but Siri is more intelligent.
