Although my taste is somewhat eclectic there's a lot of stuff I just don't like. But recently I downloaded The XX (XX) on Spotify and find myself right in tune with it. No idea why because to me it sounds all "Apple-y/Kindle-y" IYKWIM.

What are you listening to that doesn't make sense?

Hmm, a bit Metallica-esque IMO. Good call.

I'm going to regret this one possibly but I was just listening to Kate Nash's album Made of Bricks earlier tonight. It's not any good but somehow it is.

I thought I'd hate the Ting Tings.

Turns out I don't.

I thought I would not like an operatic female voice with morricone-esque reverby guitars and no bass player.

Turns out I absolutely looooooove Anna Calvi.

In amongst my Rock/Metal/Alt CDs, there's always been room for The Beautiful South.
