Although the would be assissin gets a good kicking from all the politicians.
Not condoning the actions of the guy with the gun but nice to see how quickly the politicians start behaving like a mob. Acting like complete cowards. No discipline or decent standard of behaviour. Reminds me of John Prescott a few years ago when he checked the police had his back before punching the guy who threw an egg at him.
Found myself smiling at the epic fail....
Found myself smiling at the epic fail....
You're on a different planet to me, nothing about that made me smile.
Really?...not the bloke with the briefcase, or the old fella with the brolly who's timing couldn't be worse...
Cowardly b@st@rds the lot of them 👿
The assassin would have taken any of them individually (without the gun) but as soon as they realised he was being held down, and there were plenty of supporters they all wanted to stick the boot (or brolly!!) in.
Typical of the pack mentality - but not nice or something to be proud of for any of them/us 🙄
If someone attempted to shoot a friend of mine in the face, I'd be giving him a pasting too. I have no sympathy for him whatsoever.
The intended victim was a politician, maybe they are beating the would be assassin for failing.
Reminds me of that bit in Airplane (for those old enough to remember) where everybody is lining up to beat the hysterical woman...
He had loads of time to pull the trigger.
Can a gas gun jam?
And frankly, he deserved every punch and kick.
It all seemed a bit weird, tbh... Not the mob afterwards, but the way he runs up, points the gun then stops and awaits intervention, it's like a quicktime event or something.
Looks as though he forgot to chamber a round....
Nothing pleasant there at all from start to finish.
Odd that someone would compare that to Prestcott! That punch was the only decent thing Prestcott did in his entire political career! The only thing he had to be ashamed of was not following up with a right cross. Why should he have had to stand there and take an egg in the face from the local village idiot? Don't remember him 'checking' for back-up - just an instinctive reaction to being attacked.
The vid above was of course entirely different...
Of course the hard men here would have disarmed him much quicker and dropped him then locked him without needing others to pitch in. Either that or pissed themselves and curled up into a ball
Poor gun man; i bet he really regrets that cheap rushky pistol. Or did he forget to chamber a round?
Either way he's pretty screwed now. 😀

Have a look for the video online - he is quite obviously checking for his back up. I am suggesting that people often resort to violence when the risk to themselves is nil. Can I make it any more relevant?

Disarming someone = reasonable
Incapacitating someone = reasonable
Kicking someone when they are down whether or not they have attacked your friend = unreasonable, revenge isn't a reasonable justification
Good thing that I don't know your friends, are not known for acts of violence or own a gun. I might be injured by your keyboard ninja skills...
If you read the description it says it was a gas gun, whatever that is.
John Prescott a few years ago when he checked the police had his back before punching the guy who threw an egg at him.
I think the few years has clouded your memory.
You might want to go to YouTube and have another look, and then come back and explain which was the bit where he "checked the police had his back" before throwing the punch 🙄

You could make it less an ENORMOUS AND TRANSPARENT LIE, that'd be good.
Check where he turns his head!
Prescott acted purely on instinct.
Check where he turns his head!
You're talking balls.
Sorry. That is all.
I think he might actually believe it to be fair.
if someone had just tried to shoot a colleague/ friend of mine, tried to kill them, I'd happily wade in and hit them with my handbag.

You know I hate being wrong - especially when I was so vehement... But yes, I am, obviously my memory was in error. Apologies for that. Quite why I thought he turned his head I am not sure...
Not sure faulty memory = lying though...
Sorry anyway.
Fairy Nuff 🙂
Fair dues jamj74. A few others could learn from your example.
Too true.

Emotion is recognised in courts as an acceptable defence in many cases.

Good thing for you matey.
For the record Prescott was a reasonable championship level boxer in the (merchant ?) navy ...
Aint alus been a pie eating salad dodger 🙄

Probably! I'd like to think I'm more of a lover than a fighter but I'm most likely wrong about the former...! 😉
Fair play- an honest mistake so I apologise for the lie jibe, hope you can see where it came from!
No worries.
J
i love you guys
Not as much as we love you!
