We're at the point of either PX our van for a new one (very expensive) or taking out an aftermarket warranty for ~6 months whilst we give the options some more serious thought/ save some cash. Anyone taken one out and if so, who with, would you recommend them? TIA

We had a two year warranty via the garage we bought it from (a car supermarket). Only needed to go in once for a wheel bearing, but all fixed no problem - could even have had it done at a local garage, and had them bill the car supermarket, but the supermarket was near enough.

I’ve not found one that could cover the potential cost of failure in a biturbo. For now I’m self-insuring and waiting for the delivery of our new Caravelle sometime this year.

That’s what we’re trying to cover as best we can. Been looking at Kombis but think we need to sit on it for a few months. The Caravelle is great, but we don’t use the middle seats at all with carrying two dog crates.
