I'd love to see statz (ahem) on how many people are actively posting on a thread once it goes beyond the four page threshold, and also, how many of those people overlap with other threads that do!
*There are rare exceptions, such as S&S, rugby, soccerball, TMS, making things, my eye and the big music thread.

These types of threads are always started by someone wanting validation that they themselves are capable of hitting big.
You’d also need to factor in the posters who just pop in and out to throw peanuts from the sidelines occasionally, just for funnies.
