I need a little car, 4 seats and that’s about all I really need,, oh and it to be sub £500 really, just after sometime to go to travel to the office once a week. Anyone got anything there selling, not bothered about age as long as it runs good 🙂

It was retired after the cash machine ram-raiding incident.

Depends which model, my TA is far from cheap. She’s a thirsty bugger!

Old Yaris. We had ours 17 years - it's still about locally and is 20 years old now.

Toyota Aygo/Citroen C1, go for the auto ‘box, you get flappy paddles when put into manual, which makes them a lot of fun if you push them a wee bit.
Hyundai i10, Kia Venga, (but keep an eye on the battery, they have an awkward tendency to die), both of those are nice little city cars, with decent auto boxes
Yaris, as mentioned above. If you can stretch a bit more, the more recent Vauxhall Corsa is a great little car, the recent model, going back three to four years gets a heated screen for most models in the range, and the motor is very willing to rev, and quiet when cruising. Comfy for longer runs as well - about three years ago I picked up six of them from a body shop in Cornwall across the space of a week, and drove them back home, around 200+ miles, and they were a delight to drive. The little Viva and Adam are perfect little short run cars as well.

Whereabouts in the country are you? We have a Seat Ibiza diesel that we've been meaning to sell for over a year. Presumably not worth much more than £500 but haven't really checked. Based in Oxford, it's a 2004 1.4 diesel. Something like 110k miles I think.

Look out for a K11 Micra, although ageing now and rust could be an issue, mechanically they’re sound and there are still a number of well looked after examples around. Cheap to buy, run and insure.
