Is she bringing some Mint Sauce keyrings with her?
🙂 😀 🙂
The difference is...you can rely on at least part of summer to arrive.
Ahhhhhhhh yes. I posted this thread last Winter Solstice.
I now feel a tiny little bit better. 😀
Please ask her to get a move on
That means she must be leaving me..... 🙁
Peter Poddy - I posted it on 2006 , 2007, 2008 but you beat me to it last year!
Flamin birds...she'll probably be late.
Good, but can I look forward to my winter depression resolving itself by tomorrow morning? I fear not just yet. As Diane said please get a move on luv!
I fear she's on a shopper bike
Infamy, INFAMY!!!
there's a triathlete in the ranks.
he used bike as a verb
BURN THE HERATIC!
ahh I remember you posting this, and was wondering if you were going to post again this year.
Thanks.
I miss her. Hope she comes back and stays for a loooonnggg time in '11
Nice one, well done.
She never rushes back. She dawdles along, then hides behind some cack weather for a couple of months, then rushes in, flicks the vees, shouts seeya and then we're back where we are now.
Or at least it sometimes feels like that. Personally I did as much riding last Summer as I've done in ages. But it's never enough...
As her visits are infrequent, they are all the more treasured..... 🙂
She embraced us so warmly last year, it still lingers on. She was a mite distracted and fell early. She crashed so hard that I honestly feared she may never return.
Never mind summer, we want some Global Warming*.
And we want it now!
*Typical govt scam. They talk about it, promise us it, but never deliver...
I blame the Liberals.
What is she reading?
What is she reading?
...a Midsummer Nights Dream prehaps?
lol @ Noteeth --I'd be happy with some stickers
I think that, for the first time ever, I have a palpable sense of relief at the winter solstice. Our modern calendars will show that we still have ten more days to go, but in many ways we are now into a new, and hopefully better, year.
Flamin birds...she'll probably be late.
I think that's a technique thing. I find girls always come on time.
She hasnt even got here yet though ?
Only 6 months before she's heading back.......
*insert flippant comment about keyrings*
Lunar eclipse, earthquake and the solstice - glad i'm not pagan
Beat winter blues by listening to bird song!
What is she reading?
Surrender the Pink by [s]Princess Leia[/s] Carrie Fisher.
Good book, iirc.
