Hi All.

Looking to replace my current car and have come accross the following -

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201052376105627/sort/priceasc/usedcars/price-to/5000/model/golf/make/volkswagen/page/1/radius/10/postcode/mk36hr?logcode=p

I don't know about cars so I thought I would ask the forum, Is it a good deal or not and if it was your money would you buy it.

I currently do a lot of motorway driving and will rack up the miles (approx 350/400 a week) and want something smallier, current car Mondeo estate.

So advice would be great.

thanks all.

That seems very cheap, especially from a dealer.

Yeah - good deal for a VW with a fair amount of kit - as BB says, especially from a dealer. Guess this reflects that economic confidence is not great, therefore dealers keen to shift higher milage cars. The 1.9 TDI engine, though less refined than the 2 litre, is a real toughie, so as long as well maintained (oil changes, cam belt, etc) should last for another 100K and then some.

Good luck! HNY!

tbh If I was planning on 20-25k miles pa I wouldn't be buying a car already with 105k on it.

For £5k you can buy a same-age Focus with half the mileage on it.

And what is wrong with your current Mondeo?

TBH, nothing wrong with my current mondeo, I just want a smaller one as my one is just to big.

Focus is prob my second choice but just unable to find one.
