We produce 3d pdfs from time to time which in the past have always opened with the standard pdf reader. However it seems since the reader has been upgraded you now get a data parse error. Same problem as[url= http://forums.adobe.com/thread/563022 ]here[/url]
Don't have access to Adobe Professional Extended so not able to do what has been suggested in the link, I have Adobe Professional 8 and Adobe Illustrator CS2. Anybody know of any workarounds so that I can produce a file that the reader (Adobe 9.4.4) will read?
I don't know anything about this...I can't help you I'm afraid.

I've not has any issues, only use it occasionally though. Any particular reason it needs to be acrobat 9.44, 10.something is the latest?
Corporately it's the version that's rolled out currently.
