[Closed] Adobe CS2 for FREE!

Amazeballs!

Except the the Adobe site has done been fallen over all days

Just installed Premiere Pro 2 on Win 7 64 bit and works fine used the following work around.

1. Right-click on the installer file (.exe file)
2. Select Properties then go to the Compatibility tab.
3. Put a check on the “Run this program in compatibility mode for” then select the previous OS which do you think it worked. For your case select Windows XP with any Service Pack.
4. Then under Privilege Level, place a check on “Run this program as administrator”
5. Click Apply then OK.

I am hoping to get a GoPro 3 soon, and fingers crossed i can use this to edit the video from the GoPro ?.

hmmm, well i read that and im not exactly sure what hes on about.

adobe turned activation servers off as product is end of life (or server blew up) and probably pissed off a load of cs2 users so decided the least hassle is to just let them download a copy with a new serial from their servers..?

so basically it might not be free but you can get it from their website with a serial without paying anything? and the website page is borked so is less than helpful?

The way I read it is that legally you need a licence to use CS2, it's just that Adobe have made the illegal use of it as difficult as reading a web page. Presumably they must see this as less of an issue than keeping some activation servers running. Which seems odd. Or maybe I've misread it. But then anybody going and getting CS2 for free probably wasn't going to be buying a current CS anyway (likewise anyone who really needs CS probably won't want CS2), so it probably doesn't dent the sales revenue.
