So what do we think about the claims that these new shoes are about to change running forever?
I`m getting slightly nervous about the marathon I have signed up for in April and am seriously considering getting all the help I can.

If they can be proved to work it'll not be long before they're banned from competition. If they don't get banned then they don't work.

Try "Energy Boost Trainers"

...

it's total crap.

basically, they've put a layer/piece of bouncy rubber in the sole.

which might help if running was bouncing but it isn't so it doesn't.

anyway, i need to put my dancing shoes on!

If your body resembles a steel ball bearing then they appear awesome. If it's made of flesh then all bets are off.
