Thunder - saw them in early 1990 with about a dozen other people at Sheffield Poly Union before 1st album came out. Got a signed LP somewhere if anyone's interested.
Don't care for Adele's songs but her voice and technique are top drawer.
Winehouse is in a similar mode - awful songs but a voice to die for, they both make the whole thing effortless, they're not even trying, it's all natural
Uplink she can def sing there's no doubt in that and in fact when she was on Graham Norton she was a right laugh not at all miserable!
Captain - he can't dance but then neither can Jon Bon Jovi and I wouldn't chuck either of them outta bed for eating crackers as we say round these parts!
Me and my friend Manda used to go watching them but after she died I didn't listen to them for ages it made me too sad I think its time to dig out the cd's again eh?
