We had a set of powerline adapters that were a doddle to connect to our wifi network, but the old router died and I can't get them to connect to the new one. Even bought some new ones, TP Link 4020s but the instructions make mo mention of hooking them up and the online support is an absolute morass of circular, uncompletable balls. Anyone ever done it and have an inkling how?

Don't you just plug one in to your router with a patch cord?

Just reset them, as per the instructions. They've probably learned the old routers MAC address, like it, and havent caught up yet.

Which ones are they? There's usually a 'press that button on that one, then press the button on the other one' sort of idea.
