I have an alpkit cloud cover down quilt for bike packing & I find it a wee bit chilly. I like to tinker & I’m thinking about adding some extra down to the baffles.
Dies anyone know where I can find decent quality down, ideally hydrophobic treated stuff in the UK? My google skills are failing me on this one.

Google throws up this. I'd be surprised if it's anywhere near 850+ fill power though:

You could ask someone like PHD if they'd be prepared to sell you some down I guess. Or Scottish Mountain Gear or similar will refill / supplement down stuff for you, which would be a much easier process.

What about using a sleeping bag silk liner ? They are meant to add additional heat.

There's a place in Sheffield that does washing, refilling, etc. Can't think of their name now. Just be mindful you can only put so much in before it gets too compacted. Must admit, I've never really been convinced by quilts.

The Sheffield place closed iirc, only Rab do Rab only in Sheffield, plus I think there is some climber chap who does cleaning.
