Accessible euro trails advice!
Looking for some ideas for a June trip to the alps/other for mid-late forties crew, decent riders but lacking fitness. Have already been to Slovenia, Verbier, Morzine, Basque. Love natural, forested trails, good accommodation and food/drink. The more uplifts the better. Any recommendations welcome, especially destinations not too far from airports. Cheers!
Never done any of the mainland Europe stuff but had an amazing week on La Gomera a couple of years back. All uplift with minimal uphill cycling, and truly excellent trails/scenery/weather/food/nightlife. La Gomera isn't the easiest place to get to (taxi from Tenerife South airport to Los Cristianos ferry port and then once on La Gomera a taxi/hire car to wherever you're staying), might be worth looking at similar options on the other Canary Isles and places like Madeira.
