26 Year old male
6ft
high blood pressure , overwieght.
I have been having episdoes for past 2 weeks where it feels like my heart stops for a second and then restarts like it gets blocked ect, I once has a oximeter on my finger and when I had that episode happen I seen the waves going from up and down to flat until the sensation I was feeling went away.
yesterday woke up with heavy chest feeling and tightness, so went to A and E where they did an ecg and it showed the following.
Doctor in a and e said it was normal report but I fail to understand how when it said all this?
P 72 PR 98MS QRS 98MS QT 98 P/QRS/T 338/439
DIagnose
short pr interveal
Interior infarct
Borderaline high QRS voltage
Image is below if anygood only took a quick pic,
Thank you again 😀
Ignore the auto diagnosis. There seems to be quite a bit of artifact on the ECG which results in unreliable interpretation by the machine.
I'm not willing to diagnose anything on here or contradict a doctor who is significantly more qualified than I am. Any blood tests that were done would confirm the diagnosis you were given.
At a quick glance and with decades old knowledge that looks like a normal ECG to me. Lots of artifacts on it to confuse the machines auto diagnosis feature.
I would trust the doc not the machine
What you describe sounds like ectopic beats which we all get on occasion
But remember I am a retired nurse and my days of reviewing ecgs was decades ago
It seems as though A&E have acted appropriately. Speak to your GP if you still have doubts. Have more trust in doctors that you've met and less faith in the internet ones you haven't.
P.S. Please tell me that's not a can of Monster or similar on the floor?
Speak to your GP this is mountain bike forum not a cardiologists.
