Agreed. Don't get on with skype for business but you have to now if you have your domain with o365.

U ok hun? 😆

You can call/IM to and from consumer Skype with Skype for Business so no need to run both in a professional capacity unless you need to keep accounts separate.

That's not necessarily true. You can only do that if your company has allowed and set up federation between your corporate SfB and consumer Skype

Ok, I've had a coffee now...

Issue, I have an Office365 Subscription (on Mac) and like many people I suspect from time to time forget passwords. Now I have a number of passwords I use, but Skype & Skype for Business seem to use reset procedures akin to the stasti's christmas invitation list!

I get that Skype for Business is has been adapted from Lync (I think) and subsequent login details could be used to access the Office365 site, but that login change feature is no big deal at all...

SfB login should be your overall corporate details (stored in Active Directory). Hence resetting the password needs to be secure - have your org got self-service password reset enabled?

What do you want to know about Groups? It's a convenient way of setting up and managing a number of O365 services for a defined set of people - OneNote, Sharepoint site, email DL, Teams, planner.

(Disclaimer - I work for Microsoft but I'm more of a generalist than an O365 specialist)

Are you aware of any current issues regarding the login page, it keeps refreshing and defaulting back to the landing page after login?

EDIT - Seems to be a Java script thing as after I cleared the cache, I get a pop-up prompting me if I want to leave the page or not...

Afraid not, I'm a Technology Strategist rather than anything at the sharp end. Can you get to the O365 admin portal for your tenancy? Anything showing on the service status?

Perhaps, thanks 🙂 In part it was an issue with Office365 needing to authenticate the software and sync issues with accounts (I think)
