Either 3dsMax or Windows has just deleted the Autoback folder that contained the file I've been working on for the last three days (I know, I shouldn't have been working from the Autoback folder). It's gone. Disappeared. Kaput. Not in the recycle bin. GONE. It even managed to do this whilst still in 3dsMax (though working on a different file).
Where has it gone? How can it just disappear? The shortcuts are even still there, I'M NOT IMAGINING IT! I'm not! IT WAS REAL!
And breathe.
