Tremendous!  I love how understated it all is. From the days when quiet competence was seen as something to aspire to.   It’s also interesting how low the academic level of some of the students was on leaving school, where as these days if you don’t have a string of 9s/A*s you are clearly unfit for anything.

Brilliant.

That is me binging tonight....

(mrs_oab's uncle Ray was one of the Tornado test pilots, having flown Phantom and I think Buccaneer beforehand. Proper Wing Commander stuff - accent, cravat, stiff upper lip attitude and self-depreciating at same time. Ended up running a B&B in the Lakes when he retired)
