If you frequently walk your dog along the Macclesfield canal towpath and don’t pick up after it, **** you from the bottom of my heart.

That is all,

Sincerely,

FMP

Does your face look like the wrong sort of Jackson Pollock painting?

Face made of poo plus bike made of poo. I’m going to push dog owners in the canal on my ride home. I can still smell shit 😕

No mudguards other than one of those small ones that (allegedly) stop detritus flicking up in to your face. I’ll take the occasional poo over ruining the look of my bike, shallow individual that I am 😉

Whilst you’re here TJ, I don’t suppose you fancy a trip to Macclesfield for a spot of dog kicking?

It's not the dogs who need kicking. They can't bag up their own poopoo you know. It's down to the lack of thumbs.

I was walking in the woods over the weekend and the path was littered with poo.  Is it too much to just kick the mess 50 cm into the undergrowth, my Daughter's new trainers would have appreciated it.

I don't need mudguards as I don't ride much in the wet, if I get caught out I get wet and deal with it when I get home. I really shouldn't need to fit mudguards to trap shit in there due to a number of anti social individuals.

Most of my recent interaction with the local dog walkers involves them walking along profusely apologising to everyone for their dogs running all over the place as they can't control them while blocking an entire wide path.

comoletely agree Dez, but I know how much TJ likes it. I’m still going for pushing the owners in the canal. Hopefully they’ll get trapped by a shopping trolley, never to be seen again.

I think mudguards (other than the muckynutz style fork jobs) on a MTB are ridiculous. It’s mountain biking, in the UK, you’re gonna get wet and filthy. 😀

But can you do a manual yet, FMP? I thought of you tonight when was messing about trying to learn how to do one under mr Pea’s instruction. Still can’t do it but have at least established just how much further back I need to be. Also did a nice little jump and landed 2 wheels together!

That’s great Vickypea 😀 well done! Yesterday made up for the poo incident when I bumped in to a guy walking a really friendly Newfoundland. Ours past away a couple of months ago and it was lovely to have a friendly tussle with one again

I think the problem is you just don't know how to behave around dog poo...

FMP- it’s only a baby step towards a manual. If you still haven’t cracked it, come and join us on Kerridge Ridge on the grass. Or if you have cracked it, come and share your secrets!

DO NOT DO THIS! Inside the door handles is much more effective.
