And it's clear from previous posts there are plenty of musicians/hobbiests around, so lets be hearing you then!

Doesn't have to be great, as you'll hear in a minute. Post up a video or audio recording.

Be good to see the kind of talent we have on the board. Could make for an interesting thread(though i've tried this on other forums before and it's fell flat on it's face, lets see if ST is any different!)

Anyway, here's one of my efforts, love playing this. Btw if anybody knows the tune, forget what you've heard before, I know it's different and there are mistakes. That's not the point though, I learned it before hearing the original, this is how it stays!

Anyway, post up some of your music, doesn't have to be guitar, any instrument is acceptable!

my last band (as my name may suggest, I'm not playing a stringed thing): http://www.reverbnation.com/thewickeffect

my new band: http://www.reverbnation.com/chasingglass

actually this is a bit of a cheat, the only thing I'm playing on here is the studio software ๐Ÿ˜‰

@racefaceec90 - Thanks very much. That was three months of hard work to get it that far. But I really enjoyed it, and learned a lot about Carlos Santana along the way.

SB

EDIT - Just been checking your vids on youtube. You choose some hard stuff to play!

Is that an Ibanez PGM? You certainly subscribe to Paul Gilbert's theory of 'You must make a face while bending a string' ๐Ÿ™‚

I'll get the video camera out when I'm back from Eurobike...
