A few STWers in the past have mentioned MR James and the BBC Xmas Ghost stories. (Thanks to those people for introducing me to MR James.)

I thought it was good and well in the spirit of these things. I especially liked the way they spelt out the Ghost story Formula - and used it!

If you like M R James, it's worth keeping an eye out to see if [url= http://www.nunkie.co.uk/the-mr-james-project ]Robert Llyod Parry[/url] is doing anything in your area; he does some very atmospheric, candlelight tellings of M R James ghost stories (usually in old pubs).

There's 5 little episodes on Radio 4 with Mark Gatiss as MR James as well, they're still on the I player.
The BBC documentary Ghost Writer is worth a look too.
