Not had a chance to listen properly yet, the name does ring a bell, though, but I would argue that you might be overstating things just a teensy little bit.

It certainly isn't crap but it certainly isn't great! Nice enough but very derivative and lacking both strong hooks and direction (you know, storytelling, a journey, a developing emotional message, etc) in the arrangements.

Bah, Head Automatica's - Decadence was released 2004 so 1 year outside of your criteria. On the plus side your outlandish claim has me listening to Head Automatica a good way to start the working day.
