I was persuaded to watch this based on Mark Kermode's 'Best 10 Films of 2017' review. He was adamant that a more compelling and wonderous 90 minutes of animation does not exist.
Just how good can 90 minutes of animation be? Watch it an find out.
It was utterly sublime; beautiful, heart breaking, poignant and drop dead gorgeous to look at. I suspected there might be a few gassy eyes if we watched it as a family (which we did); but little did I anticipate the flood gates of tears both my wife and I opened by the end.
Simply divine.
It's on Amazon prime, I am looking forward to it ๐
That reminds me I still haven't tasted turtle, snapper turtles are supposed to taste the best.

Oddly enough, a friend of mine (coincidentally with the initials of "GT" as well, but not you, geetee) recommended this very film to me this morning- its on Amazon Prime, which gives me a chance of seeing it.
Thanks for reminding me.
In a similar(ish) vein.
