Just reading some comments on something and came across this

WARNING!This is a funny joke! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning!Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom ......an...d her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the Moregovernment decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died. Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death.
Now send this to ten other pics on this one site, and she will haunt someone else who doesn't pass this on like you did. And forget about

I've seen something similar recently, but I faill to understand why someone would post that sort of rubbish? Who would actually benefit?

On the other hand we also got this very useful piece

PLEASE put this as your status if you know someone (or are related to someone) who has been eaten by pandas. Pandas are nearly unstoppable and, when hungry, also breathe fire. 71% of people won't copy this into their status because they have already been eaten by pandas, 28% are hiding in their showers with fire extinguishers awaiting the coming pandocalypse, and the remaining 1% are awesome and will re-post

I find that kind of post quite useful when I'm trying to prune down my friends list.

(The OP not TJs - that's good)

Sorry I wasn't trying to spread it directly, but I can't see the purpose or benefit of it to anyone. Just trying to get someone elses view on it.

Sorry I wasn't trying to spread it directly, but I can't see the purpose or benefit of it to anyone. Just trying to get someone else[s]s[/s] to view [s]on[/s] it so I wouldn't get killed to death by the nasty curse (which I am terrified of like a little girl).

FTFY.

Lol.. that is brilliant thanks for sharing 😀 for those asking why, I suspect some form of humour lies at the root of this post.

My weird sister in law sent on one of those paranoid curse chain messages once.. I put the following status on and deleted her immediately.. 🙂

Please copy and paste this to your status if you know someone, or have been affected by someone who needs a punch in the face. People who need a punch in the face affect the lives of many. There is still no known cure for someone who deserves a punch in the face, except for a punch in the face. But we can still raise awareness!

alfabus, no I genuinely DONT get it. I see no purpose it whatsoever, hence my curiousity.
PS Send this to 1 million friends in the next ten seconds or your stanchions will wear and snap.

This.

My weird sister in law sent on one of those paranoid curse chain messages once.. I put the following status on and deleted her immediately..

But by deleting her immediately, any connection between you and her is severed, your posts on her wall vanish, hers on your wall vanish and no-one has a clue what you're on about?

no-one has a clue what you're on about?

aah well.. all's well that ends well

EDIT: if I'm honest all that really happened is that my wife sent her a text asking if she was ok because it seemed a weird thing to be doing.. I lost interest in the event after that so I couldn't tell you the outcome.. but I believe that one should never let the truth get in the way of a good (mediocre in this case) story
