sorry for asking another 'what to do in bristol' question, but i'm stumped...

meant to be going to climb trees tonight with someone, but it's looking a bit damp. museums are all closed on tuesday evening, so looking for something interesting/quirky/FREE to do (not a mtb ride).

ideas on a postcard...

Sort of not mtbing...

When I graduated and didn't have much cash, a bunch of us used to take our mtbs to (closed) local multistorey carparks at night and race down them - great fun with added bonus that you get to get chased by security every now and again for added excitement.

Otherwise, FREE is really cutting down the options I can think of I'm afraid.

TSY and BBSB - both fantastic options, but mebbe not with someone else 😉

clubber - like it! meeting the person far earlier than the car parks close though - although i reckon she'd be up for it later on perhaps...

Big umbrella and a walk around the main docks (eg Pump House pub round past the Cottage, up round the SS Great Britain, past M-Shed, over Princes St Bridge then round past Lloyds building, down Hotwells)- I think it's a brilliant walk - there's loads to see.

Check out locations of Banksys around Brizzle (sure to be on the net somewhere). Check'em out.

+1 for a loop of the docks. Quite interesting a few nice pubs.

You are welcome to join us for a football match in Horfield, friendly kick-around, but you will get wet and it's £4.

had a drizzly picnic in the bathurst basin, looking up towards the bridge, then a stroll through harbour side, a few beers at the grain barge, more of a stroll and chilled out in millenium square area for a while chatting.

not the most 'exciting' evening, but thoroughly pleasant nontheless!

So - does she now see you as a really cheap date? Is there a 2nd date?
