Class.
You'd have thought she'd have realised it wasn't working and stopped long before she painted over all of it!
The tears are just beginning to clear from my eyes. ๐
I really shouldn't laugh...
Perhaps she'll turn to bran surgery.
I think they need to give a picture of the woman to art galleries, museums and churches just in case she goes touting for restoration work, hopefully not a self portrait though!
That's brilliant
"Perhaps she'll turn to bran surgery."
Are you suggesting she's a cerealist painter?

YJCMTSU!
(good effort from Bez, there !)
Another Bez admirer.
To be fair, she did quite a good job on the tunic...
This thread has brightened up my morning immensely ๐
Reminds me of this

It's the description from the BBC Europe correspondent that kills me: " BBC Europe correspondent Christian Fraser says the delicate brush strokes of Elias Garcia Martinez have been buried under a haphazard splattering of paint. The once-dignified portrait now resembles a crayon sketch of a very hairy monkey in an ill-fitting tunic, he says"
i must confess that the thread title made me think of a profanisaurus style definition and i wasn't quite sure if i should open it up at work.
It is what Jesus would have wanted.
That's a defo STW ArtClub theme ๐
Looks more like a howler monkey impersonating a monk!
crying with lol
Quality! Did you notice - even the painting of the scroll is crap!
Some people apparently missed this...
Cheers DezB.
This will now be the new 'should have gone to Specsavers' ad.
Red thunder please do an art club on 'a very hairy monkey in an ill fitting tunic' I miss art club.
she got bored, . . .
she even completely missed the white lobster perched on jesus's face out all together!!
Reminds me of Mr Bean where he repaints Whistlers mother
Thank you STW this made me smile for the first time in 4 hours.
Thank you Bez, a classic! Are you doing the Edinburgh Fringe this year? ๐
Anyone remember a similar incident in an English village church a few years ago? A YTS squad, who were doing a bit of painting and decorating, decided to go the extra mile and freshen up a rare mediaeval mural - with Dulux gloss.
