A couple of hours in Aberdeen
I’m taking my daughter to university open day in Aberdeen tomorrow. She wants to see a bit of the city afterwards. Got a long journey to drive home (pesky rail strikes) so on a bit of a tight schedule. What is worth seeing? Reluctantly I think best to plan around a 17yr old version of interesting rather than mine (so no harbour tours to see big boats)
Cheers
Ah... Was going to say martime museum (free) and art gallery 🤣 Also a wander around Fitdee. All old fogy type stuff 🤣
which uni?
A 17 yr old probably... just hang out in union sq or beach area and grab something to eat.
If it’s not to bad weather wise take a walk round and look at the street art?

Art gallery might work, she likes that.
It’s Aberdeen Uni, rather than RGU
Nuart would be about it nowadays unfortunately
Maritime museum has a mini ROV in a fish tank that you can drive about. Kids love it!
I visited the D&G Viking Hoard in the art gallery this week. Well worth a visit!
