A couple of hours in Aberdeen

I’m taking my daughter to university open day in Aberdeen tomorrow. She wants to see a bit of the city afterwards. Got a long journey to drive home (pesky rail strikes) so on a bit of a tight schedule. What is worth seeing? Reluctantly I think best to plan around a 17yr old version of interesting rather than mine (so no harbour tours to see big boats)

Cheers

which uni?

A 17 yr old probably... just hang out in union sq or beach area and grab something to eat.

Art gallery might work, she likes that.

It’s Aberdeen Uni, rather than RGU

Maritime museum has a mini ROV in a fish tank that you can drive about. Kids love it!

I visited the D&G Viking Hoard in the art gallery this week. Well worth a visit!
