Anyone?.
What ye got? I'm done with this -

No one?....
I've got three books. Bought following recommendations on a thread on here a few weeks ago...
1) Beyond Belief. Emlyn Williams. The story of Brady and Hindley, the Moors Murderers.
2) The Knights of Bushido. Lord Russell of Liverpool. The story of how the Japanese treated their prisoners during the last war.
3) Gomorrah. Italy's other Mafia. Roberto Saviano. the story of the neapolitam Camorra. (Interestingly the present head of one of the main families has been captured today after many years on the run.)
Hapy to swap these for works of non fiction, but not biographies. Historical, factual, crime. That sort of thing.
I have these two gone unread. Don't tend to read non-fiction but always get cycling books as presents from the in-laws.

An excellent idea. Should be a sticky tbh.
I have this if anyone fancied a swap.
It’s actually rather good.
Wouldn't mind the Team Sky book. What are the "rules"? Do we have to give at the same time as we take? Do you fancy anything I'm offering, or is it just first dibs?
@sarawak I'll take 'The Knights of Bushido' for Sky.
Message me your details and I'll pop it in the post tomorrow.

Done.
What's Racing through the dark like Merak? Quite like Millar on the TdF so swap that with you if it's decent?

Preferably a swap that suits both parties, but it's up to you and whoever is offering.
@Garry_Lager I enjoyed it happy to swap for Gironimo. If your happy with that message me and we can exchange details.
Good thread idea. I was looking at my bookshelf the other day thinking "I don't want to get rid of most of these, but it's a shame they're not being read."
I'll try and post some up soon.
Are we keeping it bike-related, or is anything game?
Anything goes imo...
Anything goes, I'm into running books atm, but anything outdoors suits me personally!.
Remembered to take some photos of my bookshelf this morning: https://imgur.com/a/2Hv3AFN
Appropriately, it's world book day.
Most of these I would like back (perhaps not quite what the OP meant but still). Will happily post out to forum members with at least some non-classifieds history if you promise to post it back when you're done.
Nobody has mentioned Bravo Two Zero yet.
Got the Millar book today Merak - many thanks. Sent the giro one a few days back.
Sky book has also arrived today. Thanks Merak.
I'm a voracious reader so when I've finished with it I'll put it back on here for the next guy.
OK, Sky book read. (I said I was a voracious reader...and the weather has been too crap for riding!)
Does anyone want this book?
PM me with details if you do.
Thread bump.
You weren't lying Sarawak! How do you find the time?! I'm a voracious reader... in the 5 minutes between getting to bed and falling asleep. Hence it takes me at least a month to read a book.
Any interest in a swap for these? Will probably end up in a charity shop if not.
TBH I can't really recommend the Spain to Norway one, but someone might like it. "Man does long but slow and comfortable bike tour. Stays in hotels. Describes in tedious detail." would be a reasonable synopsis. It was a present.
Yellow jersey one is quite good.
Never even got round to reading the other one.
Just finished reading this if anyone's interested in a swap?

It's a pretty damning portrait of ethics and style in high altitude mountaineering in the 90s. Depressing in some ways, but a good read.
