Bob Symes presented a BBC program program called 'Model World' in 1975, the book of the series I've just re-found. There were 10 parts, each looking at different aspects of modelling.
Fot you youngsters, in 1975 RC helicopters were just making an appearance, and 4 channel r/c cost £100's. Most model planes were free flight or control line.
