Did anyone point out the watford - arsenal score today?

I put a fiver on Watford at 13/2! Cheers Arsene! 😀

To those Arsenal fans moaning about Arsene... it could be worse.....

If Arsene does leave at the end of the season, who is available?

Maybe LVG would fancy the job.

The refusal of Wenger to see any kind of issue is almost annoying me and I'm not an Arsenal fan.

His long term project is certainly flourishing

But who are you going to replace him with? Who's going to come in and instantly transform the club into Premiership winning, Champions League contenders then?

Watford were just better than you yesterday. West Ham were also better than United. And I'd say they're favourites at home for the replay. Chelski were well beaten by Everton. And City couldn't break down Norwich. Have you noticed who's still sat at the top of the table?

The 'Big Clubs' are just going to have to acknowledge the fact that the power balance is shifting, and they're not going to have things all their own way any more. Which is all good IMHO

Do you remember when Arsene joined Arsenal? Arsene who? Doesn't need to be a big name to replace him.

It's going to be Thierry at some point, surely?

Just got [url=

A license[/url], so not long now.

Here is one bookies list in full:

Martinez might be worth a shout, as he has a penchant for bottling. 😉

think Carlo Ancelotti would be a good fit at Arsenal, plays attacking football, mixes it up more than Wenger.

Haha Sherwood what a clown. Love it. I like how Tony Adams has longer odds than SAF

I think Simeone would be an interesting fit.

All hypotheticals, tho.

The situation at Arsenal is an odd one. In that the board is impotent, the owner doesn't care as long as that champions league money is coming in, and the only person able to sack the manager seems to be the...erm... manager.

Not sure I can think of a similar situation. SAF doesn't count as he was never in a position where he would have been up for the sack.

Have said it before, but I can't see Arsenal sacking Wenger. He'll be allowed to go of his own accord (IMO and I wouldn't like to see him sacked either). I do think he should go at the end of this season, whereupon Arsenal will be the last to join the 3 season manager merry-go-round.

I think Mr Neville would take a job at McDonalds as things stand at the mo.

I don't think this season's dusted yet. In the same way that they can't buy a win right now, i could easily see the Arse suddenly winning 5 on the spin, that's how hot and cold everyone seems to be blowing.

I can also see Leicester losing tonight. New manager, desperation times at Newcastle, pressure finally being on with it being theirs to lose now.....

Forget what's gone before, this isn't a normal season for anyone.

Leicester are the most consistent and solid team in the league, hot and cold [s]they[/s] we are not.

Henderson and Lallana playing for England in place of Drinkwater tomorrow.

Im so excited by the prospect I could almost shit my pants in public.

Everyone knows if you play for Lpool you are automatically amazing at footeh.

That's a result for Drinkwater if you ask me. As he'll get a rest, and be fresher for the run in.

Does anyone actually want to play for England anyway? In a meaningless friendly, in Woys dire, unimaginative, spirit-crushingly tedious defensive formations, against a team that are in a different league, and are going to absolutely batter them!

Henderson is actually your perfect England player. A massively over-rated, overpaid, second rater, who's won **** all, and never will! I'm sure his, and the rest of the teams deficiencies will be ruthlessly exposed tonight. Not that I'll be bothering watching it. Gave up watching Engerland a long time ago!

I agree binners, international football is pretty garbage these days.

I bet he rests all the Spurs boys on Tuesday to keep them fresh for the league.

Just heard he's on about naming Jack Wilshere in the squad for the Euro's. Who last played when? And will be nowhere near match fit!

Tells you everything you need to know about the England set up, and the nonsensical obsession with 'Big Club' players, especially ones trading on past glories (Rooney), rather than on actual form

Jammers - pochettino should have done a Fergie! All those players would have developed mysterious phantom injuries that kept them out of the meaningless international friendliest, yet be miraculously cured on time for the next league game 😉

Remember the Labour Party leadership election? One of Andy Burnhams manifesto pledges was to ban international friendliest during the premiership season 😆

All without Rooney and Walcott.

Almost like England are a better team without them.

Edit: Not sure how to say this, but this is actually an entertaining game of football featuring England FC.

Please let this mean that Rooney will never again put an England shirt on! And Henderson couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo!

Vardy's goal was an absolute peach. And fitting that Kane got them back in it with a fantastic Cruyff turn! I'm sure he'll be smiling, seeing that!

Thought they were going to get hammered Binners?! Hardly a defensive performance either! Woy has a big decision to make re Rooney - bet he hopes his injury is worse than reported and keeps him out of the euros as his addition to that side would weaken it.

Does this mean that England are in with a fair chance at the Euros?

Nailed on winners, I'd say. Or out at the group stages. One or the other, no in betweens.

England looked quality tonight the Spurs, Liecester and Liverpool players all play similar pressing games and it showed and they looked a team. If Roy has any sense Rooney, Stirling and Wilshaw will be left at home.

@dragon, we've always failed to pick form players. Rooney should go imo as he has a lot of experience but Wilshire and Sterling should stay at home

A great performance. At two down I was relatively happy with our performance but to win the game was a huge bonus. Play like that and we will be Euro Champions this summer.
