Saw them at Earls Court in 1994, Dave Gimour can't sing but he's pretty good on the old geetar & the full spectacle was ****ing awesome!

Essel, that was the [i]Wish You Were Here[/i] tour, right? I saw them on that tour in Bristol at the Hippodrome. Still got my comic tour programme, seen on eBay for $250 recently.
My then g/f was going to see Rory Gallagher at the Colston Hall, so I went on the coach with her and her 6th form mates, watched Floyd, then walked back to the Colston to meet her. Nobody there, so I wandered up the stairs and could hear music, so stuck my head through the curtains over the door, and there was Rory in full flight, so I stood there and watched around forty-five minutes of him doing encores, for free! Bonus! 😀
Wouldn't happen now, I'm sure...

Jimi Hendrix was once asked what it was like to be the best guitarist in the world. He said "I don't know you'll have to ask Rory Gallagher" High praise indeed. If ever a guitarist just lived to play guitar It was Rory. He is much missed. Dave Gilmour is no slouch, saw them on the Delicate Sound of Thunder Tour, one of the best concerts I've seen.
