I'll do it for £50,000 plus two heated wing mirrors.
Most people manage to stop their sheds falling down without outside assistance. Why can't they keep it in reasonable condition on their own?
Dave
They could build a bigger shed over it.
I heard this on the radio. I don't think his family are going to be poor are they, so why can't they do it themselves?
If it is that bloody important why has it been left to rot at the bottom of the garden for 21 years?
£500k.
Surely his estate isn't short of a bob or two?
BoardingBob +1
there must be enough money in the family and on-going book sales to cover it
We saw this on news today - thought surely there is plenty royalties from his estate to sort and why leave so long? Also saw guy who did fantastic mr fox film recently on news at time proclaiming to have spent time in it for inspiration - why hasn't he coughed up? Wife suggested a perspex outer shed of sorts would do the trick.
i heard they want to move the interior to a new place. Pickfords would surely do that for 200 quid?
"At the moment nobody can go inside," Dahl's widow Felicity told the BBC.
"Can you imagine the millions that want to?"
Actually, no I can't.
She came across this morning as a) full of herself b) rather demanding c) overestimating how important hubby was, millions of fans would like to visit this shed.....err no.
Jeez, someone's dumped loads of rubbish outside those nice peoples caravans - surely the council should clear that up.
it has been left since he died!! what on earth did they think was going to happen to it? maybe they should have considered its importance before now and maybe looked after it. 🙄
wrap it in packing film wrap, can pick it up with a tele-handler then and dump it on the back of a van. Easily knock 3 0's off that price
binners - is that a wonderful coincidence, or do you know what Dahl's house is called?
We've got a couple of [s]transits[/s] slaves too. [s]We [/s] They could demolish it and [s]move[/s] carry it to wherever they wanted as part of the deal. Then tarmac their lawn.
That's a bit more like it
I'd do it for free if I could have a night with Sophie:-)
Do kids still read Roald Dahl books? I loved them as a child and re-bought the entire collection last year and they're still as good but I do wonder if they have the same appeal to today's little scroates?
