Short break in April, any recommendations on what to see?
Will you have a car or are you dependant on public transport?
And do you like history or any cultural things?
What do you enjoy? There's some wacky shit (Primal Architecture) on at IMMA at the minute; but I'd highly recommend the Duncan Campbell exhibition.
the irish film institute is a good place to hang out. if weathers nice take a trip on the dart to dalkey which is a very poncy Georgian seaside resort with cafes and wander down the coast and cliff path to killiney. wander over the bridges and temple bar. find any small pokey backstreet pub and have a (very expensive) Guinness. or easier to find is the porterhouse which is comercial but still good. wander the southern grand canal. university is nice. if you like football you'll find irish football hilarious. its awful.
i love dublin. i dont think there are any wow must see sights but its a nice place just to mooch about.
Guinness storehouse is worth a look If you like guinness, and if you like buildings then trinity uni is nice.
