time for a new telly, 32" ideally and after a smart tv that will get all the on demand channels, must work from wifi connection as no satellite dish. If it can record then excellent or record via a usb. and the big one under £300

any recommendations gratefully received so far I've seen 2 samsungs

We got a Panasonic one for £300 from richer sounds a few months back.

No av expert but have been impressed with it so far for ease of use and picture quality. Saw a couple of other brands in the shop at the same time and liked the look of/ picture on the Panasonic but didn't think there was a great deal between them to be honest.

Edit...don't think ours will record though.

Other than the smart tv apps vary from brand to brand. We only use you tube and I player and most seem to cover those.

Pretty sure there is a Samsung for £250 at currys that will do what you want. Possibly a Sony for £300 at john lewis. Was looking earlier so could be mistaken.

Buy what you want and a Roku box.
