Ive got this 3 dongle which ive had no end of issues with since i took the contract out nearly a year ago !!!
The signal reception is toss, even though three say im in a good signal area.
the signal connectivity type keeps switching from 3g to hspa, when it flicks to hspa i cant load a single page????
tried to speak to 3 but they are totally useless and just offer you another contract !!!
i signed for a 2 year contract but i dont feel like im getting a good deal here as i cant get a bloody signal
what can i do ???
HSPDA should be faster than 3G - have you tried it on another computer?
I had a PAYG one on 3 and I reckon contention is more the issue than reception. I had one for a temp office space I was using - before breakfast and after teatime it worked fine, through the working day it was un-usable. I binned it.
I had a contract dongle with 3. The main problem was trying to cancel it. 'I'm not saying no, but have you thought about this other deal'. Sheesh, took bout an hour and me repeatedly saying 'just say yes then' and 'cancel it, cancel it, cancel it' for the bloke to get the message.
