Proper campervan with garage section for bikes
Mmm Autodelta....

1. Basic, second hand family car
2. eh...why would I waste money on another car, when it could be spent on cycling?
Discovery 4
Audi RS6 Avant
Porsche 911 GT3 RS
should cover most bases - I would consider swapping out the disco for a decent twin cab pick up or Defender though...
Van and two bikes.
In the real world.
Fiat panda for everyday everything..
BMW Z3 M (a tidy one)
anything that'll carry bikes, dogs and canoes at the same time, We've got a panda and a Doblo, so one to go, 😀
In fantasy land
££££££££££!!!
££££££££££!!!
££££££££££!!!
Volvo XC90
California
Transit
If money wasn't a limiting factor:
1) RR Sport
2) BMW M5 Touring
3) Aston DB7
Now back to down to Earth realistically it will be a 330d or 335d Touring one size fits all this time next year.
Does most of it - work vehicle, bike carrier, top end family motor with all the toys, performs like a 'warm' hatch. Don't get me wrong, I'd have three specific sorted motors given half the chance, but this one don't do bad...

top end family motor
Is that really your idea of 'top end'?
I despair.
Volvo XC70 D5
Aston Martin Vantage
Volkswagen T4 camper conversion
Ok, middling then Flashy. Granted a Merc, Porsche, or Bentley it ain't - not a lot it wants for in gadgets and comfort though.
Real world 1 large estate or saloon with a towbar
Fantasy world add a 911 Carrera 2.
If that was a blue light on top, then I'd be aroused. Orange though just doesn't do it for me.
Mine would be:
Audi RS6 for all the family stuff
Toyota 2000GT for some good old-fashioned fun
VW T5 Sportline day van (long wheelbase) for family/biking trips requiring space over speed and other lugging duties.
Maserati Quattroporte for posh outings and driving down to the yacht in Biarritz, that kind of thing.
One of them estate BMW M5s for bike/kids/dogs/general tootling about.
Caterham R600 for weekend hoons.
Back in the real world, I think we do fine with the Jeep and the Batmobile.
STR, have you done any real world mpg tests on the navara ?
Working towards it now
VW California for general camping and bike lugging
993 Turbo 4 or 997 Carrera 4s for some fun
Subaru outback for kid transportation
Defender 90 for hacking around the valley in
Delta Integrale for pure fun
A6 2.7 quattro
Prius for general use
Nice VW van for towing and holiday usage
VW Scirocco 170 TDI for when it's just me.
Volvo V70 for me.
Disco4 for family / tow car.
Escort Mk2 RS2000 for being a bloke.
Suzuki Capuccino
Bowler EXR-S
Mercedes e63 AMG estate
performs like a 'warm' hatch
If your definition of warm is a 1990s 1.6L Escort, then perhaps 🙄
If your definition of warm is a 1990s 1.6L Escort, then perhaps
I was thinking much the same 🙂
Well, it has 190bhp and more importantly something ridiculous like 440nm of torque. Obviously it's heavy so takes some shifting off the line, but goes ok. Anyway it's not all about that, it's always going to have its haters. For me, it's just about the most practical all round vehicle I could get with a lot of comforts too. Also great for towing my caravan (without getting stuck anywhere). Great on muddy work sites too.
B.A.Nana - ignoring the computer (which lies). If I hoof it - 28mpg, steady - 34mpg, average -30/31mpg.
1/Skoda Yeti 4x4
2/BMW M3 / 997 C2S
3/Not sure

.
Really? I'm sorted then. Just got to get the rust treated. In all seriousness, it does me just fine and on my budget is about perfect.
.
In the unreal world
1) VW T5VR6 LWB for bike duties
2) Ferrari 288GTO (why has no-one mentioned this already?)
3) Bowler Wildcat
.
If any of those are unavilable I would be happy with an Integrale Evo3 or a Metro 6R4. (how often does an Austin Metro appear on a list of dream cars?)
1) BMW 330D Touring.
2) Arial Atom for utter hooliganism.
3) Landrover Defender Ambulance for camping and tackling the forthcoming revolution.
Assuming the wife can keep her car and the 3 new ones would be for me. Also assuming that money really is no issue, I would have the following.
1. Fully loaded Disco for bike stuff and off road fun.
2. BMW M5 Touring for family stuff.
3. Probably a Ferrari FF but maybe a McLaren MP4-12C for fun.
I'm going to be cheeky and add a winterised Renault Clio to leave at my chalet in the Alps.
Kia Picanto for runaround
Hyundai i30 estate for bike duties
Nissan Micra TT - in case the sun shines
😀
Range Rover
911 Carerra 4

1. Steyr-Pusch Pinzgauer - bike lugging (and proper off road capability)
2. M5 touring xdrive - family shizzle
3. NONE i would kill myslef/loose license..
currently got a knackered 11 year old Primera that refuses to die and a Fiat Bravo which has got quite possibly the most shizzer JTDM engine in.

BMW M5 Touring
Maserati Quattroporte
asked wifey and she said its only fair that she also had 3 cars to do it all...but she could only think of one car she wanted...it'd be a shame not to fill the two remaining spaces for her...
Audi Q7
Lancia Delta HF Intergrale Evo 3
Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X
1. Fiat Panda 4x4
2. (new style) Cayman S
I win.
3. Morgan 3-wheeler.
