Anyone know any good 2player apps for the iPad please?
2 players on 1 pad or each with their own iPad? any particular genre? There are a lot of great boardgame implementations on the iPad if that is your thing!

you are pretty much limited to board game or turn-based style games. The good news is there are loads of great ones though.
Carcassonne is a great boardgame and hands down my all time fave iPad game. Ticket to Ride and Small World are also current faves. Great Little War Game is a fun Advance Wars style game if you like that kind of thing.
scrabble works ok but you can't study the board durign your opponents turn so it can be quite slow.
Flight control HD, 2 players at the same time, in real time on the same pad. Fun and quite hectic!
Scrabble is good if you have 2 iPhones as well.
