PSA - ya, I finally scored 2048 two days ago after few months not playing.

Better late and never ... damn thing gets on my nerves for evading my 2048 score.

Here again if you want to try it out ... very addictive btw.

Have you tried 2048 plus? You can have a grid up to 12x12.
Annoyingly addictive

Don't move up, and if you can help it, don't move right, if you do move right try and have the bottom row full, build into the bottom left corner, numbers should decrease the further you get from the bottom corner

I got mine by building the left top corner ... then started chasing the numbers.

yup, pick an edge and protect your biggest number in the corner. If you keep that row full, you can flick the numbers to one side and the other without moving the big number. If you have to move it out, hold your breath and hope you don't get a new number in its place and move it back quick sharp.

I find it oddly soothing. I lost concentration on a bit of a roll the other night, started running out of options but thought I'd comfortably make 60,000. Game over at 59,920. :-/

2472 on first try? It was just randomly swiping? What's a good score?

About 9000 or something on mine. Have been playing it for months and months though. I think if you do games a lot, it gets easier.
