Osprey's look stronger to me, especially on the bench. Too much pressure on the Scarlets to stay in the top four and never easy away, so I am thinking an Osprey's win is on the cards.

Is Underhill the young English 7 that's supposed to be quite good?

Doesn't just look good,is. Clifford is handy but Underhill is a far smarter player. In the Embra game he was as effective as Hardie, which is praise indeed.

Sounds promising! Haven't seen him play yet........haven't seen too much club rugby live at all this year so far 🙁

Hoping that there's a game on Scrum V tonight.

A piece in the Times tiday from Barnes was about Underhill, effectively, he's ready for a cap, get him now and there will be no issue from the English clubs over the fact he play in Eales as anytime they want him, they can flex the wallet and get him, unlike French based players.
Not sure if that's true, but suspect there's something in it.
Anyway, no issues from me getting him capped ASAP, got to make sure the Welsh don't get him!

Jeez duckman why don't you wind your neck in? You're just coming across as more and more chippy and anti-english with every post. You do know that counts as racist don't you?

Its funny how dislike of one person can be interepted as anti english. I gotvthe same for disliking he who shall not be mentioned. I think Duckman justvdoesnt like THM not the whole english race.

I speak Russian, French and Italian, I'm still English.

He's English, there's no way the Taffs could breed a player like that. Genetically inferior race.

James Botham was born and raised in Wales though. The international game is littered with "qualified" rather than born players these days, and a complete non-issue for most of us I'd warrant. If Wales manage to poach Underhill I'd be gutted as I think he could be great, but it's hardly worth bearing a grudge over.

From what I understand, Underhills time as a student do not count as residential. His official address will be his parents.

A sudden sensitivity to racism that had deserted you in the aftermath of Marlers remarks. Pity, despite people pointing it out to you,you still don't actually understand what it is.Both Jamby and Kryton were using the chippy defence of Marler this morning,You are late to the party! Good to see your countryman at it again a couple of posts above,or is it racist/chippy of me to point that out?

It was tongue in cheek, maybe I should have put a smiley in. I understand perfectly what racism is thank you very much. The clue is in the name.
If so many people think you are chippy, maybe, just maybe there is something in it? Just a thought.

You can have Underhill we dont want him. Norths mam is welsh and he has lived in Wales since he was 2 learning to speak fluent Welsh..that'll do for me. You guys are lucky you poached the very very welsh Vunipola brothers!!

Patchel looks good at 15, its only Treviso obviously but he is a good play maker and passer, just what Wales need. Better than Anscombe anyway.

POSTED 30 MINUTES AGO # REPORT-POST

You are the only person ever to call me chippy. I am Scottish,my expectations of success involve finishing above Italy.

If you lot are having to call so many other people chippy, maybe there is something in that? Just a thought.

Both Jamby and Kryton were using the chippy defence of Marler this morning.

Speaking for myself, I did not and thats a lie Duckman. I called AA on his repetition on the subject,
I then clarified my stance - still not in defence on Marler - in my very next post. My text contains no defence of Joe Marlers actions and anyone who cares to go back a couple of pages can see that.

I'd ask you not to speak out of turn on my behalf, thanks.

**** me duckman, if you can't see my comments were meant as a joke aimed squarely at all the racist comments going on here there's no sodding hope.
It'll be the lowest level flounce ever, but I've got no real reason to carry on on this thread / site. Have fun and I'll drop in towards the next world cup. Bye bye x

So can anyone explain how Sam Warburton an oustanding international 7 can play 60 mins for the Blues and do nothing what so ever of note?

Give it a rest AA FFS! You've managed to extrapolate your winging about Marler for pages and pages of this thread over a couple of weeks. It's getting very boring.

Get over and help yourself by being slightly less bitter about something else English for a change.

Glad you clarified that the post above is is no way suggesting anybody talking about Marler is only doing it out of bitterness. I would also like to say that in no way makes you an apologist or belittles the gravity of making racist remarks during a game.

AA - I guess it shows how much the 6N takes out of you. Also, it's pretty hard to get yourself "up for it" week in week out.

And back to rugby; Is it just that,or are the injuries catching up? At his best,Warburton seemed to go through a game and not do much...While actually spending the whole game slipping under the refs radar and getting away with murder.

You just can't help yourself Duckman.

suggested anybody

Nope, not anybody or everybody but...

Give it a rest AA

Just one person. And no, it's not my place to apologise for Joe Marlers actions, I'm not him, his mum or responsible in any way for him. If you want him to apologise it's quite easy for you to contact him via Twitter and ask him yourself. Regarding the belittling of his actions, that wasn't the subject of my post, and because I chose not to make a statement in that post, albeit I did in the next - which you've chosen to show bias by not posting that one - you'd like to suggest I'm a pro supporter of his actions.

All that is you Duckman, trying to have a go at me, mostly with inaccuracy.

You've yet dragged this thread into one of implied insults and it's become less about the rugby and more about your bitterness toward anything English/individuals masked by your own insecurity. What's more there's more than 3 people contributing to it that have identified you as an issue - there is no smoke without fire as they say. Like tinybits said I want no more part of it, enjoy having a chat with yourself.

Personally I'd like to see more rugby discussed on here. It's generally interesting and amusing.

Some people could do with being a bit less sensitive to a spot of banter and others could do with toning down their version of "banter" just a little.

I, of course, am perfect. 😉

That's brilliant Kryton,it's like your flounce thread all over again! Oh and I didn't post your next mutterings as they were modded, wonder why? You and Wrecker calling anybody chippy counts as 3 does it? I see there are as many maths books as pudding recipe books in your house. You are at it again, discussing the Marler incident does not make somebody bitter or chippy. Suggesting they are only doing it because of anti English sentiment belittles what he did. Sorry you can't understand that.

Flounce airlines you are cleared for takeoff!

Why do you think World Rugby dont agree?

World Rugby think the 6N got it wrong - so do I. I think Marler had a case to answer but if you 2nd guess every discinplinary result then no rugby will ever get played as we'll all be in court instead. The answer is to change the rules/system to ensure that things get done properly in future.

Thats irrelevant to anything. I'm sure Hogg apologised to Biggar but he still deserved a punishment. I'm not sure the Marler thing deserves a ban but it certainly deserves being highlighted as unacceptable behaviour..

I'd say that in any crime, the thoughts of the victim should be relevant and, at least, be considered when sentencing. The Marler thing has certainly been more highlighted due the disgraceful way it was swept under the carpet. Marler has got off scot free (no rascist slur intended) and it looks really bad. Most reasonable people can see it was unacceptable behaviour so although there's been a clear fudging of the process maybe it'll promote wider discussion of the issues and a change for the better.

There is a proscribed minimum for his action, that he admitted to, so that minimum should have been applied.

Big Gav's son is on the way through the ranks. It'll be interesting to have a Hastings to select.

Namastebuzz I agree its the blazers covering it all up this pisses me off. It clearly went further than just "Gypsy Boy". Had it been 20 years ago and Lee could have chinned the **** then it would all be less annoying.

Dunno,we can't have that creeping into our game, its what makes it better than many others. Anyway rugby; Salary's v Exeter...Bloody good of BT sport to have that on live isn't it 🙂 After a couple of months of the 6n it will be good to get back to what is a better game to watch.

Jim Mallinders son is on his way (pretty much there starting for Saints) too. He looks about 12 years old, until you see that he's 195cm and 108kg. He's also fast, has a good boot and good hands from what I've seen so far. One to watch.

Back to Warburton being anonymous.... Faletau is the epitome of only turning up for the internationals. Start of the season in particular, he had a cracker dropping two restarts, missing about 6 tackles and having the hands of Haskell. No way you'd pick him for Newport let alone Wales!
