Need to replace my wife's phone. Can't do it under warranty as it had a bath.
1) Will a PAYG phone work with her contract SIM (one that isn't locked to a different network).
2) Where is a good place to just buy a phone - no contract or PAYG SIM required.

1. Cross network may cause issues, some overlap but I can't recall which. But if it's the same network but different tariff, it'll be fine.
2. Not sure, I'm guessing you want a new phone? (i.e. not 2nd hand) Shops do sim-free deals and those little independent phone shops too. Sometimes people get a new handset on insurance/upgrade and sell on "as new", check your local gumtree site.
