Had a drunk driver career down our street at 7pm last night, in the end we counted 12 cars damaged. Not surprising really as it's a narrow terraced street, double parked and the drunk only had three functioning wheels on his Audi...

He got stuck in at the dead end trying to reverse a car with only three wheels whilst pissed as a fart....

A neighbour and I detained him till the Police arrived...

Failed breath test, and the neighbour and I witnessed half his carnage, so they will be prosecuting...

Fair play op.
Was there an orange 5 in the back or a Santa cruz Bronson?

This wouldn't have happened under Brexit.

You're right, he was South African, so would have been put in a Boris Internment Camp on arrival at Heathrow....

Remarkedly passive, I was expecting to have to sit on him, but he was very chilled and chatty. I took the photo in case he changed his mind and did a runner. Of course his driving wasn't to blame, just the fact his car only had three wheels....

Police reckon he was on drugs as only just over the limit (54mg IIRC) yet appeared completely plastered. Apparently they don't do a blood test for drugs if he fails the breath test as it would make no difference to the outcome.

If it's a dead end, where was he on his way to?

Crikey, that's thread blast from the past. Who was it he tried to fob off with his driving credentials?

I doubt he even knew where he was, pretty wasted.

Everyone, it was when he started telling us all he was a better driver than Schumacher that it all got a bit boisterous and he flounced shortly afterwards...

Chapeau OP. Years ago (literally 40) my Dad followed a drunk driver down the street as he literally scraped every single parked car for a few 100 yds. I have never forgotten it.

That drink vs drugs comment is pretty scary

Not really, drunk in charge or high in charge is the same in terms of penalty, so if they get you for one, there's no benefit to having you for both. His 54mg is high enough above the 35mg limit to remove any doubt they'll get a conviction.

Had he been taking hot rocks at the Geldart a little too literally?
